The smallest of the Middle Atlantic States, New Jersey is ranked 46th in size among the 50 states in the US. New Jersey covers a total area of 7,787 sq mi (20,168 sq km) of which 7,468 sq mi (19,342 sq km) constitute land and 319 sq mi (826 sq km) comprises of inland water.

New Jersey is surrounded by New York State on the North and North East; by the Atlantic Ocean on the East; by Delaware on the South and Southwest; and by Pennsylvania on the West. The Atlantic Coast also constitutes of several barrier islands.

The state's geographic center is in Mercer County, near Trenton.

Autumn is the best time to visit New Jersey. From the northernmost part to the southernmost tip, all places of New Jersey have something to offer to its tourists. New Jersey has some of magnificent attractions in the US. Drown yourself in the Adventure Aquarium at Camden, enjoy a breathtaking view of the Statue of Liberty from the Liberty State Park or see over 500 animals at the Space Farms Museum and Zoo at Beemerville.

Adventure Aquarium - Camden

Adventure Aquarium which opened on May 25, 2005 houses about 8000 animals in different forms of semi-aquatic and oceanic habitats. Nearly two million gallons of water flow through the facility at any given point of time. It is an educational entertainment attracion and a very important tourist attraction.
