Elizabeth : New Jersey

A city in the Union County, Elizabeth is surrounded by Linden to he southwest, Roselle and Roselle Park to the west, by Union and Hillside to the northwest, by Newark to the north, and by Staten Island to the east. The community was named for the wife of Sir George Carteret, a cousin of Gov. Philip Carteret.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city covers a total area of 35.4 km² (13.7 mi²) of which 31.6 km² (12.2 mi²)  is land and 3.7 km² (1.4 mi²) of it (10.47%) is water.

Longitude: 74.21 W

Population: 125,809 as on 2005
